Description:
American Property Management, Inc., a fast pace, growing property management company seeking Credit/Compliance Specialist to oversee all aspects of tenant qualifications for our properties and provide reporting as needed to state and or federal agencies. Acting under direction of the Vice President; company is seeking a candidate with ample amounts of motivation and determination to complete all duties required of this position.
Summary of Position:
Review credit applications for all of the company's Market and LIHTC properties. Review compliance packages for our LIHTC properties in order to comply with our regulatory agreement as outlined by the state. Record, report, and maintain copies of all resident files for annual reports submitted on a scheduled basis throughout each year. Be able to respond quickly to any inquiries state or federal agencies may have on any of the LIHTC properties we manage.
Goals for Position:
The Credit/Compliance Specialist will learn all facets of the position to achieve the
greatest productivity potential, and create innovative procedures aiding in: the efficiency
of the department, communicating tasks and project goals both oral and in writing.
Requirements:
1. Ability to make quick decisions and work in a very fast pace environment
2. Past experience working with strict deadlines
3. Be able to communicate effectively and work with various employees on and off site ranging from executives, regional managers, property managers and site employees through phone and e-mail
4. Strong Microsoft Excel skills required
5. Detail oriented and organized with the ability to plan ahead
6. Real estate, mortgage or finance background a plus (not required)
7. Drug screening and background check will be required prior to employment offer (for qualified candidates)
